Cameron Waters and Thomas Randle have signed contract extensions that will keep them at Tickford until at least the end of 2027.
Tickford said the new deals ensure stability deep into the Gen3 era, when small gains will become increasingly important as the performance gap between teams shrinks.
Both drivers are locked in for two seasons but with options for a third campaign in 2028.

The move keeps Waters out of what could be a febrile driver market, with 11 seats still up for grabs, eight of which are at Chevrolet teams.
Waters has reportedly turned down several offers from General Motors to extend his stay at Tickford into a second decade.

“Tickford has been home for a long time, and I’m stoked to lock in the next phase of my career,” said Waters. “We’ve got unfinished business, and I’m ready to keep pushing for wins and the championship.
“I’ve got an amazing team around me, and to be working with them and Tom for another two seasons will be great.
“We’ve got a strong dynamic, and I’m looking forward to the next few years.”
Waters enjoyed a blistering start to the season, sweeping to three victories and maximum points at Sydney Motorsport Park to lead the championship table.
It wasn’t to last, however. He’s scored just two podiums since then — one apiece in Taupō and Tasmania — and slumped to fourth in the standings, 91 points off leader Broc Feeney, while the team has struggled for consistency with its Ford Mustang.
Combined with Tom Randle, however, Tickford has been able to hang onto second on the teams table, 342 points behind Triple Eight and 230 ahead of Walkinshaw Andretti United.

Randle has been a growing force in his fourth full-time Supercars campaign, improving from 23rd to 13th to fifth last season. He’s currently ninth on the title table and 193 points adrift of Waters.
“I am super excited to be announcing today that I am re-signing with Tickford for 2026 and 2027,” Randle said. “Tickford is where I got my start not only in Super 2 but also in the Supercars Championship.
“We have done some pretty cool things in the last few years, had some great results together, and I can’t wait to continue this journey with Cam alongside me as well.
“We’ve known each other for such a long time and had some pretty cool moments on and off the track together. I am looking forward to seeing what’s in store for the both of us in the future with Tickford Racing”
Tickford CEO Simon Brookhouse described both drivers as crucial to the team’s title-winning plans.
“This is a massive moment for Tickford,” he said. “Locking in Cam and Thomas for the next two seasons gives us consistency, leadership and talent behind the wheel.
“Both drivers are integral to our performance strategy, and their commitment reinforces the direction we’re heading as a team.
“To keep this formidable driving combination together for the next two years places our team in a position of strength to have a twofold attack at winning both the drivers and teams championships.”

Tickford won its only drivers title in 2015 with Mark Winterbottom when the team was known as Prodrive Racing. It has never won the teams championship in any guise.
Team owner Rod Nash said Waters and Randle were a good fit at Tickford, and their strong work together as teammates made re-signing them and obvious choice.
“We’ve built a strong foundation with both Cam and Thomas,” he said. “They’re fast, smart and understand what it means to race for Tickford. This gives us the chance to keep building and racing at the front for years to come.
“I’ve known these two ‘peas in a pod’ for some time, and the intensity of their passion and commitment to strive forward with their competitive edge is a great asset for our team. They are great mates to me [and] to each other, and together on and off the track they represent the Supercars sport in a very professional manner.
“With 18 years collectively between them as part of the Tickford Racing team, this consistency is what you need to be a winner.”
