2025 Prospect League All-Stars
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Carson-Newman infielder Cole Nathan is one of 60 players named to the Prospect League’s 2025 All-Star Game, the league revealed earlier this week.
The Prospect League is a premier wood-bat collegiate summer baseball league comprising teams of college players. The league has 18 teams in 7 states.
Nathan was one of four players from his team, Dubois County Bombers, to be named an All-Star this summer.
The infielder was one of three players to earn All-SAC honors in 2025, being named to the second team. He posted the second-best batting average on the club, hitting .339 with 64 hits in 189 at bats. Nathan had 16 extra-base hits which included team-high four triples and tying for the team-high with four home runs. He drove in 44 runs, second-most on the team and had 19 multi-hit and 12 multi-RBI games.
That success with C-N earlier this year has carried over into the summer for the Knoxville native. In 20 games with Dubois County this summer, Nathan is hitting .364 and is slugging a team-best .558. He has 17 RBI and nine of his 28 hits are for extra-bases including three home runs.
Not only is Nathan an all-star, but he will also be competing in the league’s home run derby tomorrow evening. The Prospect League’s Home Run Derby is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. tomorrow at Robin Roberts Stadium in Springfield, Illinois.
The 2025 Prospect League All-Star Game will be played at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, at Robin Roberts Stadium in Springfield. Both the Home Run Derby and All-Star Game can be seen on the Prospect League Network.
