Wicketkeeper Brooke Guest has signed a new two-year deal to stay with Derbyshire until the end of the 2027 season.
The 27-year-old has scored 4,665 runs and claimed 225 dismissals across all formats for the East Midlands side since first arriving on loan from Lancashire in 2020.
He was Derbyshire’s second top scorer in the County Championship last season with 638 runs as they finished bottom of Division Two.
He has scored two half-centuries this term, and top scored with 91 as they played out a rain-abandoned draw with Northamptonshire earlier this month.
Derbyshire’s head of cricket Mickey Arthur described Guest as “the kind of player every good team needs”.
“He’s a top-class wicketkeeper and a quality batter about to enter his prime,” Arthur told the club website., external
