ROCK HILL, S.C. – Following a successful 2025 campaign, four Eagles have been named to the All-SAC teams, with Macauley Bailey (Cross Plains, Tenn.) and Hayden Dye (Knoxville, Tenn.) earning first-team honors while Syerra Rogers (Graysville, Tenn.) and SieAnna Cameron (Alcoa, Tenn.) join the second team.

Bailey impressed again in her junior season, hitting a career-best .438 and mashing 15 or more home runs for the third consecutive season. The Cross Plains native became the program’s all-time home run leader on March 1st against Southern Wesleyan, hitting career home run No. 36 against the Warriors. Bailey’s tally has grown to 46 since the record-setting long ball. The junior quickly approaches another record, needing two RBI to break the career RBI record after tallying 56 RBI in the regular season.

“This season just shows me how hard work and dedication pay off in games,” Bailey said. “I love hitting home runs, it’s my favorite thing to do… It’s obviously evident that I do it every single year, so I’m hoping I can do it again in my final year.”

Dye cemented herself as one of the league’s top hitters in 2025, holding the third-best batting average in the league (.460) while ranking 13th in RBI (44). The senior raked in 19 multi-hit and six three-hit efforts, tied for the team lead. Dye’s single-season batting average would rank 10th all-time if the season ended today. The Knoxville native will end her Carson-Newman softball career as one of the program’s top hitters, currently ranking 8th in hits (219), 8th in home runs (27), and 6th in RBI (166).

“I told myself that I’m going to make good contact this year,” Dye said. “I wanted to make a lasting impact in my final season.”

Rogers produced career-highs both in the circle and the box in 2025. The Graysville native notched career-best tallies in wins (13), ERA (4.05), strikeouts (116), innings pitched (105.1), batting average (.278), home runs (10), and RBI (28). Rogers will finish her Carson-Newman career ranked 8th all-time in strikeouts (380) while tossing the ninth-most innings (342.1).

“This year meant a lot to me,” Rogers said. “I knew I had a lot to work on… Coming into the year, I knew this was going to be it for me, so I wanted to come out and be the best in everything I did.”

Despite only playing 24 games, Cameron impressed in her time in the Eagle order, hitting a team-best .488 through the first 24 games. The Alcoa native led the Eagles in RBI (27) in that time frame, providing consistency as the leadoff hitter in the C-N batting order. Since then, she has taken on a different role, serving as a leader off the field to help propel the team forward.

“I’ve taken on a new role that I wasn’t really used to,” Cameron said. “I’ve been there to pat everyone’s back and cheer them on… It’s been interesting, to say the least. I wish I could be out there and continue to achieve the way I started the year, but being there for them and cheering them on in ways that I haven’t been able to in my career has been fun.”

The Eagles will look to defend their home turf on Friday and Saturday. They will host in-state rival Tusculum in a best-of-three series starting at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
